The rescheduled Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert on December 17th, 2017 was a huge success! The concert was re-planned and held at Cat's Cradle, a popular music venue in Carrboro, NC.
Numerous local artists and bands, such as Sam Harmonix, Curtis Stith, and Some Antics, donated their time to the concert. Over 50 people attended; Rise for Youth was able to raise $680 in total from ticket sales, T-Shirt sales, and donations!
All funds were donated to the Coalition of the Homeless in Houston, Hurricane Irma Children's Relief Fund by Save the Children, and UNIDOS Disaster Relief Foundation by the Hispanic Federation.
Thank you to all of the volunteers, Cat's Cradle, and attendees for making this event possible!
