Logan Elementary

Last year, after reaching out to many different elementary schools, Rainee Pei (VP) and I went to visit Logan Elementary School in San Diego, CA, to speak with the volunteering coordinator and the principal of the school. After discussing our goal - teaching students at Logan Elementary music and art to inspire them - we decided on having our team come to Logan every other week.

Rainee and a few of the team members traveled over 2 hours every visit. The team taught songs on the piano and art to several students.

This inspired us to do more and reach out to other schools; we are very grateful for the opportunity from Logan Elementary. It definitely helped us grow.

We will continue visiting Logan, but we will also start going to other elementary schools especially with low/no budget in music and art programs.
